Share to Wishlist on Android

Install Gift-Register.com as an app to share products directly from Chrome's share menu

✨ Android Chrome has native support for sharing to web apps! Just install Gift-Register.com to your home screen.

Installation Steps

  1. Open Chrome and navigate to gift-register.com
  2. Tap the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top right corner
  3. Select "Add to Home screen" or "Install app"

    You may also see a banner at the bottom of the screen prompting you to install - you can tap that instead!

  4. Name it "Gift-Register.com" or "Wishlist" and tap "Add"
  5. The app icon will appear on your home screen

How to Use

Once installed, sharing to your wishlist is automatic:

  1. Browse to any product page in Chrome or another app
  2. Tap the Share button
  3. Look for "Wishlist" or "Gift-Register.com" in the share menu

    Note: It may take a few seconds to appear the first time after installation

  4. Tap it and the product will be added to your wishlist!

🎉 That's it! You can now share any product from any app directly to your wishlist.

Troubleshooting

Share target not appearing?

  • Make sure you installed the app to your home screen (not just bookmarked it)
  • Try closing and reopening Chrome
  • Open the installed app at least once after installation
  • Make sure you're sharing a URL (not just text or images)

You can also copy any product URL and paste it at gift-register.com/quick-add
