Share to Wishlist on iOS

Set up iOS Shortcuts to share products directly to your wishlist from any app

iOS Shortcut Setup

Create a custom shortcut that appears in your iOS share sheet:

  1. Open the Shortcuts app on your iPhone
  2. Tap the "+" button in the top right
  3. Tap "Add Action"
  4. Search for "Text" and add the "Text" action
  5. In the text field, type:
    https://gift-register.com/quick-add?url=
    Then tap after the "=" sign and select "Shortcut Input" from the variables that appear

    The final text should show: https://gift-register.com/quick-add?url=Shortcut Input

  6. Tap the "+" below to add another action
  7. Search for "Open URLs" and add it
  8. It should now say "Open Text" - this is correct
  9. Tap the shortcut name at the top (shows "Text") and rename to "Add to Wishlist"
  10. Tap the info icon (ⓘ) in the top right
  11. Toggle on "Show in Share Sheet"
  12. Tap "Share Sheet Types"
  13. Enable "URLs" (and optionally "Safari web pages")
  14. Tap "Done" twice to save

✨ Now when you're on any product page in Safari, tap the Share button → "Add to Wishlist" and it will open in your browser to add to your wishlist!

Simpler Alternative: While on a product page, copy the URL, then paste it directly at gift-register.com/quick-add
